About Laura

I am currently a lead pre-K teacher at Child's Place in Volo and I babysit a baby girl that started at 4 months. I have over 10 years of experience as a teacher. I worked at Alta Vista Montessori (3 years), Special Education of Lake County (7 years , children with Autism), and Montessori School of Lake Forest (3 years). I also taught violin lessons over the years for over 12 kids at the beginner level. I have a daughter, puppy, and love working with children. Therapy is key! I'd describe my personality as kind, patient, and open-minded I like working with kids because it's a passion and I one day would love to start my own school or daycare.
