About Dawn

Dear Families, I retired about a year ago from a job I held for 36 years as music director of a church. In that capacity I worked with children as a children's choral director. Prior to my job as a music director I was a preschool music teacher at the Gorton Community Center in Lake Forest. Additionally, I held a position of assistant teacher in a private daycare setting and at a Montessori school. I am looking for a part-time position and would be willing to do light housekeeping, start a meal, run errands, and help with pets. I truly enjoy working with children. It gives me so much joy. I feel I could be an asset and a help to a family that just needs a break at some point I have three children of my own and two grandchildren and understand the stresses that young parents face today. I have a grandma's love to share!
