About Lara

If you are willing to invest in teacher with over 40 years of experience working with children, homeschooling, and teaching, I would love to work with your family. My children and I all play multiple instruments and love to sew, read, cook, hike, camp, ski and play tennis together. I know how challenging parenting can be and also how rewarding and fun! That's why I love supporting family health and well being. I'm especially skilled at managing difficult situations with patience, kindness, and consistency. ex: challenging behavior, learning disabilities, disordered eating and sleeping. I value a positive learning environment in the home, along with lots of outdoor exploration. I have a special passion for encouraging curiosity and creativity. My price ranges from $30 to $60 an hour depending on number of children, age, driving distance, activities and special needs.
