About Lani

As a graduate with degrees in Mathematics, Gen Sci, and Education, I work as an educator for Boston Public Schools and spent a significant amount of time in post grad, working in various spaces to help students with everything from math problems to editing papers. The students I've worked with have earned strong grades. Many no longer need my assistance; as I offer tips and tricks to ensure future independent study. I promise nothing other than a solid understanding of material until self-sufficiency has been achieved. Considering many students are needing more help through the pandemic, lessons have been altered to better manage online learning and classroom etiquette. My ultimate goal is to encourage, remind, and teach critical thinking to the point of no longer needing outside resources. While I offer lots of tips, skills, and information, I also take care on working with students to boost their confidence in what they're doing, because so many of them are already capable.
