About Lai Kuen

Presently, I work as a Primary Teacher at the Children's Center, overseeing four toddlers and managing a classroom with 12 children aged 1-2. With 4. 5 years of childcare experience in the US, I specialize in nurturing infants to preschoolers, driven by my passion for working with children. I hold AA degrees in Early Childhood Education and Early Childhood Intervention, earned in 2023, and aim to pursue a BA in human development with an early childhood education focus. Prior to moving to the US, I volunteered in diverse community settings, engaging with seniors, children, and those with special needs. Moreover, I've volunteered for eight years at my daughter's school, collaborating with teachers to create enriching activities. As a committed "story mama," even after her graduation, I remain dedicated to fostering children's educational journeys.
