Hi Families! I am a middle school English teacher in the Upper East Side with 6 years of experience working with children. I am CPR certified, and have a masters in middle childhood education. Along with basic babysitting tasks, I can also help your child develop their reading & writing skills! I'd describe my personality as warm, empathetic, and determined! My life revolves around developing our little ones so that one day they can change the world. Regardless of their background or where they come from, my belief is that even the most polished adults can learn from the unfettered honesty & joy that kids bring to this world. I began working with kids in college, when I was a nanny for a 9-year-old child on the autism spectrum. I went on to work with middle schoolers when I joined Teach for America, and have been working with kids ever since! As a teacher, I value consistency as a non-negotiable when it comes to working with children. Under my care, we will be a team!
