About Kristin

I love working with children! I'm a certified K to 8th teacher with 24 years of experience. I have a Masters Degree in K to 8th grade with endorsements in the following: Reading/ELA including writing, Math, Science, Social Studies, Visual Arts, and Sensory Integration. I am also certified to teach English Language Learners. I tutor during the summer and afternoons during the school year. I prefer to tutor online privately or in small groups. On the personal side, I love reading, teaching, baking, and all my animals! I'd describe my personality as responsible, funny, and creative! I like tutoring because it allows me to be away from the core curriculums in the classroom. I love seeing when my students understand something new and their faces just light up with happiness! I'd like to tutor more online for now. One thing you should know about me is I will tutor to challenge them, but not to frustration, I try my best to find the 'just right' lessons.
