About Kristina

I have extensive experience working and educating children of all ages. My previous job titles include After School Care at the YMCA, Science and Math Education Mentor, Nanny and Lifeguard. During my time at the YMCA, I was responsible for the well being, supervision, discipline, and enrichment of 15 children ages 9 and 10. I also created and lead the Spanish Club, teaching conversational language skills and cultural enrichment and aided in homework tutoring. Through all of these responsibilities, I created cherished individual relationships with all of the children I was responsible for and their parents. Last Summer, I had the joy of caring for 2 girls ages 10 and 13. I transported them to various activities, prepared meals, and assisted the parents with any additional errands. I am currently employed as Youth Mentor in a Science Math Interactive Learning Experience. I assist and lead experiments with groups of 21 children age 11-17. I also help guide and teach the children through the Material Science based curriculum. I have also aided my mother in her at home day care, where we were responsible for 2 infants.
