About Kristi

Hey! My name is Kristi; avid reader, prolific writer, mama of an 8-year-old boy, and certified Tutor in Communications, Literature, English, Composition, Grammar, and ESL. I have worked extensively in Moraine Valley's Academic Skills Center with college students of all ages, backgrounds, and native languages. I have taught classes and mentored students, C-level executives, and young children to impart the deep love and joy of language, learning, and understanding their world through a literary lens for the entirety of my professional career. I truly love connecting with individuals and groups, and it brings me a deep sense of fulfillment and purpose to share the learning journey with those who seek assistance and guidance. One of the beautiful things about supporting the learning process is the gift of learning I also receive from each of my students as unique individuals. I value the wisdom and insight they offer as we share and exchange during our sessions.
