About Jackie

I am a local 3rd grade teacher who is starting my third year of teaching! I graduated from the University of Iowa in 2014 with a degree in Elementary Education specializing in Language Arts and Reading. My student teaching experience was with 6th and 1rst graders. I am very comfortable with all subjects as I teach everything in my classroom. Communication with students and parents is very important to me and I work hard to keep everybody on the same page during tutoring sessions. My goal is for students to reach their true potential by helping them develop strategies to overcome any obstacle they may face in their learning.
