I'm a tutor and former English teacher. It is my love for learning that lead me to teaching. I am currently going back to further my education. I taught 8th grade English for two years and loved everything about it. My goal is for students to reach their full potential and show growth. Everyone has their strengths, it's just about finding out the students in particular. I specialize in college prep, essay writing, and all aspects of English from plot, character development, theme, grammar, editing, and revising. I've worked with all ages when it comes to English. From kinder to college students, I've helped students grow and improve to reach their goals. I'm an avid reader and history buff. My greatest joy comes from seeing people learn and grow to better understand any concept.

Kristen is an excellent tutor with strengths in essay writing, grammar, editing, reading fundamentals, history and other social studies and social sciences. She has a great approach with young learners, because she meets them where they are and gives them the tools to feel confident. An experienced and certified teacher, Kristen is an excellent choice for students of all ages. I recommend her wholeheartedly!
