About Kristen

I have over 25+ years of experience working in the local school systems, specifically Fairfax and Loudoun County Public Schools. My expertise lies in working with school-age children from Kindergarten to 3rd grade. I graduated from NVCC with an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education. Throughout my career, I have worked with children with special needs and those in general education. At home, I have two children: an 18-year-old special needs daughter and an 9-year-old son who is typical, along with a dog and a cat. In my downtime, we love being outside and doing a lot of fun things as a family. I like to do crafts, read, and watch my favorite shows. Working with children of all abilities has always been a passion of mine. I grew up in a lively household where many children came and went, as my parents were foster parents to 44 children throughout their lives.
