I have worked in nursing homes in the activities department but haven't done nursing work. Most of my professional work has been childcare and preschool which seems to require the same skills. I cared for my grandmother until her last days and have spent the past 8 years as the primary caretaker of my 81-year-old father who has been battling cancers this whole time. He is doing well and I now have too much free time so I think it is time for me to offer my assistance to others who may need it. I'm very easy going, not easily offended and very understanding of everyone's diverse needs.
