About Kimberly

I bring over 15 years of experience working with chidren, including full time nannying since 2023. I hold a Bachelor's degree in Sociology with a minor in Environmental Studies, which has shaped my holistic and nature-centered approach to caregiving. After college, I spent seven years in Toronto working at a vibrant somatic movement therapy school, where I taught Yoga and Movement Therapy classes for children with special needs and disabilities. This experience deeply informs my work today, allowing me to support children's physical, emotional, and developmental growth through movement and play. I also worked as a swim lesson instructor during high school and as a summer camp counselor in the Adirondack Mountains throughout college. I value creating a nurturing and supportive space where children feel safe to explore, express themselves, and grow. I especially enjoy incorporating nature into daily routines, whether through outdoor adventures, creative play, or hands-on activities.
