About Kendra

After graduating from high school in the top 10 of my class, I pursued Mechanical Engineering at UC San Diego from which I graduated in 2017. For the next five years I worked as a corrosion engineer with a utility company. And now I am working to transition to the health care field as a nurse. I have 3. 5 years of paid experience, specifically in math, ELA, and curriculum development. I provided classroom instruction at times, as well as more individualized support, to students with unique learning styles in my various roles with a K-6 program. I also worked as a college writing tutor, assisting students with academic papers, resumes, creative projects, and more. My passion is making the world a better place by helping people. It's why I'm trying to become a nurse, it's why I volunteer and serve my communities, and it's why I hope to help your child succeed through fun, positive, and effective tutoring!
