While I have not formally been a tutor, one of my main roles in my teaching position this past school year was working either one on one or with small groups of students to help catch them up or provide extra practice across the subject areas. I also subbed as the building's Reading Tutor and as a Behavior Tutor for several months of the year. My aim was to create a safe space where students felt comfortable to be themselves and ask the questions that they needed answered.
