For the past 6 years, I have been a tutor at the school that I teach at for both ELA and math to third and fourth grade students. I have also done private tutoring in math for a now fifth grader as well as a now sixth grader for the past 4 years. I like to provide my students with a relaxing environment so they feel comfortable asking me any questions they need answers while learning new material! I understand what it is like for a student to be in a class where they are not understanding the lesson but feel embarrassed to ask the teacher for help. I want the students I tutor to become more confident learners through our session together as well as in the classroom!
