About Kelly

I have been teaching piano lessons for kids since 2001. I understand how to engage kids and get them excited to be learning their favorite songs on the piano or keyboard. I understand that kids want to have fun while learning the piano. For instance, I teach kids piano using popular songs, while explaining the relevant chords and scales that provide a deeper understanding to music theory. I understand that beginner piano students should have a positive impression when first introduced to the instrument. In addition - I have owned and operated my own children's theater company for 7 years and have taught children's theater, musical theater, acting, improve to children of all ages. For the past several years I have found myself also teaching art through the city, as well as in a private local school. I love all of the visual and performing arts and various rates apply - I am happy to quote you a rate should me agree on a time and date of service.
