Experience: 10 yrs
I'm Kayley, a newborn and infant care specialist with over 10 years of childcare experience, including 6+ years as a full-time professional nanny. I specialize in supporting babies throughout the first year of life (0-12 months), with a focus on feeding, sleep, developmental rhythms, and responsive postpartum care. I'm currently finishing my Newborn Care Specialist and Infant Sleep Consultant Certification. My lived experience far outweighs any training. I am deeply fulfilled by supporting first-time parents and babies growth. Recent experience includes: • Temp Infant Care: 4 weeks- 12 weeks (current) • Ongoing Infant Care: 2- 11. 5 months • Temp Infant Care: 2. 5- 3. 5 months • Previous Infant Care: 3 mos- 1 year • Previous Infant & Toddler Care: 3 mos - 2 years Over 5+ years of infant support. I generally follow the Moms On Call structure and I'm focused on attachment based care. Families describe me as attuned, calm, intuitive, grounded, communicative, reliable.
We can’t recommend her enough, especially for families with newborns. Our son was only about 4 weeks old when she started with us, and he was going through severe reflux, a formula transition, and a lot of body tension. As first-time parents, it was heartbreaking to see him so uncomfortable, but she was incredibly patient, compassionate, and attentive with him. She took the time to pace feed, burp him thoroughly, and keep him upright after feeds, even though it’s a lot of extra work. She also helped us tremendously by sitting in the back seat with him while I drove him to his chiropractic appointments and gave the best contact naps when he wasn’t the easiest sleeper. Knowing he felt safe, comforted, and settled with her gave us SO MUCH peace of mind as first time parents. She was also such a gift to me during postpartum. While she cared for our son downstairs, I was finally able to catch up on much-needed recovery sleep, and I felt completely confident leaving the house for a workout class or even a simple grocery trip without worrying. Those little moments of feeling like myself again meant more than I can put into words. Most importantly, she was always open to feedback, checked in regularly about how we wanted our son cared for, and truly worked as part of our team. We ultimately couldn’t continue weekly nanny care because our family’s needs shifted and I ended up needing more postpartum support, but we would absolutely recommend her to any family—especially those looking for exceptional newborn care or support with a reflux baby!!!
