I am from Peru, I have 2 wonderful children, I was a Nanny for 17 years, My experience is with newborns up to the age of 17. For the past year, I've had extensive experience caring for two newborns (boy and girl) who are now 12-month-olds, born a day apart from one another. I work full time for the two families who split my care between their babies. Each family has different requests for how they want their babies cared for, so I make sure to listen and adapt accordingly. I feel it's important to learn about each family I care for to understand their individual preferences for raising children. I am experienced with both formula and breastfed babies. I also speak Spanish and English to the children to help them understand common phrases in both languages which enhances their brain development. While the babies nap, I do light housekeeping, laundry, and will cook if families request it. During the newborn stage, I occasionally stayed overnight to allow parents to sleep.
