I am from Peru, I have 2 wonderful children, I was a Nanny for 22 years, My experience is with newborns up to the age of 17. But now for the past 2. 5 years I've had extensive experience caring for newborns (boy and girl) who are now 12-month-olds, born a day apart from one another. I work full time for the two families who split my care between their babies. Each family has different requests for how they want their babies cared for, so I make sure to listen and adapt accordingly. I feel it's important to learn about each family I care for to understand their individual preferences for raising children. I am experienced with both formula and breastfed babies. I also speak Spanish and English to the children to help them understand common phrases in both languages which enhances their brain development. While the babies nap, I do light housekeeping, laundry, and will cook if families request it. During the newborn stage, I occasionally stayed overnight to allow parents to sleep.
