About Kayla

I have been a teacher since 2017, primarily working in special education grade 2-4 and pre-k. I love helping kids understand concepts that they had previously struggled with. I love the "aha!" moment. I have worked with kids my whole life having younger siblings, babysitting jobs, and assisting in summer programs since I was a teen. I'd describe my personality as open, kind, nurturing I'm looking for a job that allows me to help people and works with the hours I work at school In my spare time, I like to relax at home with my husband and cat. One thing you should know about me is I will care about your child as if they are my own My skills include meeting the child where they are academically and emotionally, knowledge of curriculum, experience as a teacher
