About Elyse

I have been a 7th & 8th grade Special Ed. Case Manager for 10 years and love my job! Along with this role, I have been a middle school English teacher and Math Inclusion Teacher. My specialty is in reading/writing throughout all core subjects. I have extensive experience and training with supporting organization and Executive Functioning skills at the middle school level. I hold a MA Teachers Special Education (Pre-K-8) Licensure. I have also been a private tutor for Grades 2-10 for over 10 years. I provide individualized support for students in various subjects in 1:1 settings. I strategically, and flexibly, identify strategies to appropriately support my client's academic success. Above all, the most important element of my tutoring practice is to create and maintain a safe, patient and nurturing atmosphere, specific to the client.
