About Kayla

I have had a great deal of experience working with children. When I was 15 years old, I began working at an after-school childcare program called Lil' Rams. Here I would watch kindergarten children through children in 6th grade until their parent or guardian arrived from work. I would encourage the children to do homework, play games, and have fun while still keeping a safe environment at all times. I continued this job until the age of 17. Once I came to college at age 18, I began working a part time job at the YMCA as a Childcare Provider, which is where I still currently work. This program is just like my previous childcare job at Lil' Rams with the same aged children. I also currently work with children ages 3 months to about 5 years at the YMCA where parents drop off their children while they work out. As you can see, I have had numerous years of experience with children and hope to continue that experience this summer. I am CPR and First Aid Certified and absolutely adore working with children. I have a safe, reliable car that I use to get myself around and love being active outdoors.
