About Katie

Hello! I have many years of experience working with children and previously worked as a full time nanny for 2 sets of twins (one set of which is graduating high school this year!) I have experience with infants, toddlers, and school age children and can provide excellent references. I am fingerprinted and background checked through two different agencies and know CPR and basic first aid for all ages. I truly have a huge heart for children and just love spending time with them. I am fascinated by the way kids learn and develop skills through play and everyday life tasks. I believe that EVERYTHING is a learning opportunity. I'm big on letting children take (safe) risks and letting them learn through challenges, with myself nearby for safety and support. Personally, I love reading, going to concerts, traveling, and spending time outside walking, hiking, and camping.
