About Katie

Hi, my name is Katie and I have around 3 years experience working and caring for children (those with developmental/intellectual disabilities and those without) between the ages of 18mo-5yo. I am a patient and passionate person who cares deeply about providing children a high level of care and support as they navigate and explore their world as they grow up! I stumbled into working with children during my first year of college and have fallen in love with it ever since. Some things I have experience with is creating and maintaining a schedule, structuring the environment to best fit the kids' needs, as well as choosing and setting up developmentally appropriate activities on a day to day basis. In my free time I enjoy crocheting, hiking, playing cozy games on my Nintendo Switch, and snuggling with my cats. One more thing you should know about me is that I love music and believe it has a deep impact on all of us, especially children!
