Hello! My name is Katie. I'm a retired Middle School teacher. I thoroughly enjoy working with students with special needs. For the past 12 years, I taught 5th and 6th grade students with ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, and/or Autism Spectrum Disorder at a school in Alpharetta. I taught Math for 8 of the 12 years. Prior to teaching 5th and 6th graders, I taught 7th and 8th graders at a Title I school in Cobb County. I have provided after school tutoring for many of my students. I also participated in a summer school tutoring programs in Cobb county when I was teaching there. I have a lot of patience and a kind, calm, understanding demeanor. I would love to have the opportunity to work with your child.
