With a BA in Adolescent Education I taught 9th and 10th grade English in White Plains High School. I then moved on and spent 4 years teaching 3rd Grade at Success Academy in a ICT setting. I have provided 1:1, 12:1 and 6:1 tutoring groups in both ELA and Math that moved students from below grade level to on grade level. I have received numerous awards for growing a classroom and small group of students from 2018-2021, even throughout the Pandemic. I served as a Grade team lead and helped moved 3 Below Grade level classrooms to On and Above grade level. My specialty is the ELA and Math State Exams for 3rd Grade. I have also provided 1:1 tutoring for students with ADHD in levels 1st and 2nd grade who were originally below grade level. I only ask for a consistent work schedule and a partnership to foster growth.
