Hello! I'm a retired 36 year certified educator. I have a BS in Secondary Education with specializations in Reading and English as a Second Language (ESL), a MS in Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in ESL and a MS in School Counseling. I have taught 5th through 12th grades and post high school students. I have lived in 3 foreign countries: Czech Republic, England and Japan besides working all over Texas. In England and Japan, I worked for the Department of Defense Dependents Schools as a middle/high school counselor while also overseeing their ESL department. I am a strong experienced, dependable and caring person/teacher who believes that all students can learn no matter their past or present circumstances. Kathryn is amazing! She did more than just tutor our son, she developed him into a better student. She is kind but firm and provides discipline. With our pets, I think they may love her morme now than they love us, but that's the thing about Kathryn, she goes above and beyond and it shows to all those around her. Kathryn was with our family for a little more than a year (before we moved) and she was a true and honest blessing.
