About Kathleen

Empowering elementary students to reach their full potential is the core of my teaching practice. With 30 years of experience as a certified teacher, I specialize in creating personalized learning paths that foster both confidence and a genuine love for discovery. I hold a Bachelor's Degree in Education, with certifications in Elemntary Ed. gr. 1-5 and Special Educaion N-9, which allows me to adapt my methods to meet the unique needs of every learner. By connecting complex concepts to real-world interests and celebrating each small victory, I help students develop the critical thinking skills necessary for long-term success. I prioritize open communication with families to ensure we are always working toward your child's goals. Whether we meet at the library or a local coffee shop, I am dedicated to helping your student experience that rewarding "aha!" moment. I truly look forward to supporting your child's academic journey and watching them thrive.
