About Katherine

Hi! I'm a Clinical Psychology doctoral student with 8+ years of experience in childcare. I've provided childcare consistently from high school through the present, most recently working with four families over the summer in the East Bay. I've cared for infants, toddlers, elementary-aged children, and teenagers. I'm passionate about creating a safe, nurturing environment where kids feel comfortable, understood, and free to be themselves. Currently, I'm completing a counseling placement at a high school in Richmond as part of my first year in clinical training. I graduated from UC Santa Cruz with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and Studio Art and have completed early childhood education coursework. I'm CPR/First Aid certified, have a reliable car, and am a non-smoker. I am primarily looking for one-time or occasional childcare, including date nights, weekend care, and last-minute needs.
