Hello!! My name is Katherine.!! I am a local 4th grade teacher looking for a part time tutoring position. I have my Bachelors in Educational Studies and my Master's from SUNY Cortland in Childhood Education. I have a NYS teaching certification in grades 1st - 6th. Here is more about my teaching/ experience. As previously mentioned I am a local 4th grade teacher. Last year I taught 2nd grade at another local school district. While receiving my Masters I student taught in grades 5th, 3rd, and 2nd. Before returning to receive my Masters I held many other teaching/education positions which are the following: A preschool special education teacher for the Family Enrichment Network, An Ag in the Classroom Educator for Cornell Cooperative Extension, and was a Teacher's Aide at the ICD for SUNY Binghamton. Overall, I have an extensive background in teaching. I love working with children and are a kind, patient, and understanding teacher who is able to help my students succeed!
