About Kate

I'd describe my personality as patient, empathetic and reliable I'm looking for a job that allows me to continue to spend my days caring for children while my own kids are in school. I started working with kids when I was a teenager. I babysat for my siblings and cousins before pursuing a career in education. Once I had my second child, I became a stay at home mom. Over the course of the last 15 years, I've been at home raising my children (including a set of twins) and also helping friends and family out with their child care needs when possible In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family, exercise, read, garden, knit, and play with my dog One thing you should know about me is taking care of children is something that has always come naturally to me and it just brings me so much joy:) My skills include caring for multiples, creating a positive and loving relationship, playing games, teaching kids to be independent and play well together
