About Emma

I like working with kids because I love the creativity and enjoyment kids have for life and when learning new things. It is so rewarding to see a child have that "ah ha" moment when they've been working on a skill and to watch them learn and grow knowing you played a part. I started working with kids when I was a kid myself. I have always being around younger kids and very quickly became the designated family party sitter. Once I was old enough I started babysitting! I went to work in a variety of child care jobs until college where I graduated with my degree in ECE with a letter of approval for sped and an ESL endorsement. Now I spend my days teaching little learners! In my spare time, I like to spend time horseback riding. I also love reading and doing anything creative. One thing you should know about me is I have a big heart. Every child I have cared for over the years from babysitting, daycares, gym child care, and teaching holds a special place in my heart.
