About Kate

I am a former teacher and mom of 4, looking to help out other families in need of part-time childcare. I have been providing care in my home for 10+ years and really enjoy it! I am certified birth- grade 6 with a BS in Early Childhood and Elementary Education as well as a MA in Special Education. In addition to being a 1st grade classroom teacher, my experiences include working as a lead teacher in an infant room, summer camp counselor, and Sunday school teacher. I miss teaching, but have enjoyed staying home with my kids and using my background in education to enrich their play time during the day. I'd love to help out with your little one 2 days a week. I have a 13-year-old, 11-year-old, and 7-year-old who will be at school during the day as well as a 3-year-old daughter who will be home with me. I prefer to provide care in my home!
