My most recent job was several years ago as a nanny for a 5-month-old boy and a 4-year-old girl (2019). I have plentiful experience as an live in nanny: 4 months for a family in Switzerland, caring full-time for their 5-month-old infant (2013). Before that, I lived with a family in Portland, OR, and provided full-time care for their 8 month and 2 yr old. I have more than 15 years of nanny and teaching experience with children from a wide range of ages and abilities. I have a primary teaching license in Colorado. I worked with ESL students, Reading Recovery and scaffolding for special education. I can offer excellent references from families I have nannied for as well as master teachers I have worked with in the classroom. I have excelled as an educator and caregiver because of my passion, dedication and natural intuition with children. My rate is $20/hr.

Emma worked as a live-in nanny for our family for over a year. She is very professional, responsible, and reliable. Emma has great communication skills and takes direction well. She was proactive about finding educational, engaging and fun activities for the kids. Our two daughters really enjoyed their time with her and she had a good rapport with them. Besides child care, Emma's responsibilities included errands, laundry, meal preparation, and light housework. I would definitely hire her again!
