About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate. I am a certified teacher, grades pre-k through 6th, and I am also a licensed Reading Specialist. I currently work as a 3rd grade teacher for Fairfax County Public Schools, but previously taught 5th grade. I love working with students of all ages! I have 4 years of private tutoring experience in a variety of subject areas. I have supported students with dyslexia, students struggling with Math, students in need of Reading and Math Enrichment. I also have teaching experience with supporting students online. I am reliable and energetic about education!
