About Katelyn

- I have almost 3 years of childcare/early education experience (June 2022 - March 2025). I spent the first 2 years as an assistant/floater where I cared for children infant - school age. The last 9. 5 months were spent as a fill-in preschool (3-3. 5-year-old) lead teacher during the summer and a toddler (2. 5-3-year-old) lead teacher during the fall/spring! - I have experience in creating/implementing lesson plans based on the curriculum given to me by my early education center. I also have experience in observing social/emotional/physical/behavioral development, creating fun arts & crafts projects, encouraging independence, potty training, and teaching fine/large motor skills! - I am CPR/First Aid Certified as well as current on KS fingerprints/backgrounds. I have had training in conscious discipline, child abuse awareness, developmental psychology, family dynamics, safe sleep, and emotional regulation in early childhood! - I can provide references upon request
