About Katelyn

Hello! I am a mature 20-year-old with a heartfelt passion for teaching young minds and creating lasting memories. With 2 years of professional experience in caring for children of all ages, as well as a certification in behavioral therapy for autistic children. I bring patience, understanding, and a nurturing spirit to my role. My dedication to fostering a positive and enriching environment makes me a valuable asset in any family setting. As the youngest of 12 siblings. I have 5 years hands on experience babysitting and nannying for my 8 nieces and nephews. I was working in a school setting working with children ages 6mo- 5yrs. Some of my favorite things to do with the children is to play outside, paint, make snowmen, I try to engage the kids in making things that let their imaginations run free as well as letting the kids engage in tactile play. I lean very much into child lead learning and play. I am very patient. I believe that mistakes are always okay!
