I started babysitting for neighbors, family, and friends at about 11 years old. I've watched over children age newborn to 8 years old. I've worked at 3 different daycares for 5 years. I have also nannied for 4 different families before, during, and after working at the daycares. First, family I was with for 7 years. Second, for 3 years. Another for about 1. 5 years. I'm still employed by one. I have more patience with kids than anything else. I am a firm believer in having the children discuss what is bothering them and helping to provide them with the words they need to describe how they feel. I believe that creating a safe and healthy environment for kids to grow up in is very important. I am CPR certified. Whitney an absolute gem! She provided exceptional care for my 1.5-year-old son with special needs, quickly mastering his routines and therapies. She went above and beyond, taking him on enriching outings, assisting with physiotherapy and feeding exercises, and engaging him in a variety of fun activities.
