About Katelyn

Throughout high school, I was privileged to be in a program that allowed me to internships with schools in the district. During my internship I worked with kindergarten through third grade. Also in high school I president of the American Sign Language Honor Society. I took ASL for all four years and during those years I had volunteered to help deaf children in the community. After graduation I was employed at a play care for the summer before I moved to San Marcos. During my employment I worked with children from new born to 12 years of age. I also help provide meals including snacks, lunch, and dinner. Now that I am attending college I would love to further my experience with working with child. I plan to major in nursing and specialize in pediatrics.
