About Katelyn

To start, I'd describe my personality as outgoing, reliable, and caring. In my spare time, I like to lift weights, learn, and travel. Currently, I'm a senior at GMU studying Information Technology online. A unique thing about me is that I'm a U. S. Navy Veteran. This means I have a number of valuable assets such as: discipline, adaptability, strong work ethic, high level problem-solving skills, attention to detail, the ability to perform under pressure, and have been professionally trained in CPR and basic first aid. My top three childcare skills include effective communication, adaptability, and patience. I've nannied, taught, and tutored kids, on and off, for over 10 years. I like working with kids because I find it incredibly rewarding as it allows me to contribute to their growth and development. Witnessing their curiosity, creativity, and joy of learning is fulfilling to me. I'm looking for a job that is reliable and secure that allows me to care for and teach an amazing child.
