About Kate

Hi! My name is Kate and I am a Registered Nurse and mom of two. I have been working with kids for 20+ years in different roles, including as a nanny, a pediatric nurse, and a school RN. I've always loved caring for children and being someone they can feel safe and comfortable with. I really enjoy creating positive environment where kids can be themselves, have fun, and feel supported. My background in nursing helps me stay attentive to children's health and safety and I am I'm patient, reliable, and easygoing. I'd describe my personality as caring, kind, and fun. I'm looking for a position where I can help a family care for their child or children in a part time capacity. My fist job working with kids was at a daycare when I was in college. Since then, I've worked as a nanny, registered nurse, school nurse, and newborn care specialist. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my family and exercise.
