About Karmela

Hello! A bit about me is I have a BFA in Film and Digital Content, as well as an extensive background in music! I love to laugh as much as I love to learn, and to me, there's no one better to pass those two things on to than kids! I've worked with kids (2yrs-15yrs) in a variety of settings, including Outdoor Summer Camp, Private Swim Lessons, Tutoring, and Babysitting! I'm CPR certified, and for pool-owners, I am also lifeguard certified if needed! I can't wait to meet some of you! :) I first began professional childcare when I got a gig during the summer as a camp counselor! From there, my passion for working with kids grew. My top 3 childcare skills would be; Alertness Patience, which I feel is crucial because kids are in a constant state of learning. It's important to let them grow! Fun, I strive to make the environment as fun as possible! Sometimes that looks like watching a fav tv show on the couch, and other times it's pretending we're saving the town from monsters/villains!
