About Karina

I'd describe my personality as optimistic, patient, caring. I like caring for those in need. I'm looking for a job that has flexibility, good support from the patients family members. Great communication so I can know what the family of patient expect of my care. I started caring for seniors when I was 24 years old, It was a job at a nursing home. In my spare time, I like to garden! Im a member of a Garden community here on South Bay San Diego. And I love to lift weights and workout. One thing you should know about me is I'm very flexible with my hours and days. I'm a good team member and work well with others. I've done private Hospice care as well as just for companionship. I enjoy cooking for others. My skills include giving a great complete bed bath. I've done restorative nursing care so I'm familiar with range of motion, ambulating with Gate-belt, and transfers. I've done some wound care, I'm familiar with dressings and cleaning of wounds, also colostomy bags.
