About Karina

Hi everyone! My name is Karina, I'm 31 years old. I have extensive experience working with children in educational, behavioral, and childcare settings. I previously worked for the YMCA as an After-School Program Leader, working with students from TK-5th grade. I've also worked as a Teacher Assistant/Paraeducator and as a part-time/full-time nanny for years. Currently, I work as a Behavior Technician/Therapist providing ABA services to children with autism and behavioral needs, including verbal and nonverbal children. I have experience with SDC, SIB, BCA, CBS, and various behavioral needs. I'm CPR and First Aid certified, with current SIB and Safety Training. I enjoy creating fun, engaging activities based on each child's interests while providing a safe and supportive environment. I'm also very comfortable with pets!
