About Kari

I discovered my passion for working with children and caring for their needs when my brother was born 26 years ago. My mother worked as a teacher, so I became a responsible and loving caregiver for my two younger siblings. I learned how to take care of the household at a very young age. Neighbors and friends noticed my patience and enthusiasm with children, so I became a regular babysitter for other families when my siblings became old enough to take care of themselves. As a babysitter, I cleaned, cooked, put children to bed, read books, played sports/games, worked on art projects, and just had fun together. I have babysat countless times, nannied for two summers, and worked in an at home daycare one summer in 2018. I have been continually caring for elementary aged children as a full time teacher the past 8 years. I really enjoy working with children because they are our future leaders and world changers!
