About Leah

I am the 4th in line of a HUGE blended family of 9. My teen years were spent acting as the primary care giver of my 3 younger siblings who are now aged 9, 12, & 23. My brother is on the spectrum and my mother remained a single & working full time; so ive got experience that could last me three lifetimes. When I moved away for college I became a part time preschool teacher in Portland Oregon. During COVID-19, I began nannying full time in the Bay Area but have since moved back to Portland. Since moving back, I have continued to nanny in Portland for a variety of amazing families, I am currently in search for a long term contract with the right family, as my current will be ending in December 2026. Leah is currently caring for our 5 month old and we feel so lucky that we found her! She is sweet, knowledgeable, and is always meaningfully engaged with our baby during wake windows. She takes her on daily neighborhood walks and to free music/library events. Leah is also flexible, communicative, and a hard worker. We would absolutely continue working with Leah if we didn’t already have a daycare spot lined up!
