About Karen

I have 5 years of in-home infant and pre-school childcare experience, as well as 20 years volunteer work with Sunday school classes, after-school literacy programs, and summer youth programs. I have a 90-hour ECE certification and raised 2 children of my own ages 26 and 20. I worked in state government for 20+ years before leaving during the pandemic and relocating to Georgia where I opted to not return to government service. My hobbies include reading, writing, and crafting. I love to laugh and enjoy the energy and imagination children bring wherever they go. I was First Aid and CPR trained some years ago but am open to retaking courses if necessary.
