About Kara

Hello! My name is Kara and I have been in education for over 6 years. I have been in the classroom teaching for the last four years working with Prek, First Grade and Fourth Grade learners. I have also worked in Early intervention with students with disabilities. I have a masters in early childhood special education and have valid teaching license. I am qualified and experienced to teach elementary math, elementary literacy, writing and grammar. I have also worked with my students on social emotional development, science and social studies. I have taught over 4 different curriculum such as Amplify, Eureka Math, Little Treasures and We Believe. I am confident in teaching multiple learners at a time, working with learners that may have any learning disabilities and students who need special education. I look forward to working with your child and making not only an impact on their learning but making it fun!
