About Kanika

Hi, I'm Kanika! I'm a loving, patient, and dependable mom with years of hands-on childcare experience. I'm married and the proud mother of a wonderful 9-year-old son. After my son was born in 2017, I became a stay-at-home mom and dedicated my time to raising and caring for him. When he was diagnosed with autism at age 3, I gained valuable experience learning to understand and support a child's individual needs with patience, compassion, and consistency. When my son turned 5, I returned to work at First United Methodist Church. I currently work in the Parents Morning Out (PMO) program, caring for newborns through age 2, and I have also worked with the church's preschool program with children ages 2-4. I also babysit for the pastor's assistant's baby and other families in the church community. I truly love working with children and creating a safe, nurturing, and fun environment where they can feel comfortable.
